Shen Yueyue Inspects Northwest China's Qinghai Province

Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the All-China Women's Federation, conducted an investigation tour of Northwest China's Qinghai Province in July.
During her visit to a community in Xining, capital city of Qinghai Province on July 12, Shen promoted the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, among women of various ethnic groups and families in the community.
Shen urged local women to fulfil their unique role in social and family life, to educate their children well, and to motivate their family members to promote glorious traditions, sustain the revolutionary legacy, and to carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party.

During her investigation tour of the region, Shen participated in a community meeting attended by residents and staff of the community's women's federation, and listened attentively to their discussion on a plan to promote garbage sorting among parents and children.
Shen also attended a family traditions and family education sharing activity in the community, and learned about the demands on parenting. She urged staff of the women's federation at the grassroots level to improve the quality of the community's parenting school, provide early education guidance and other more specific support services, help parents cultivate good thoughts, behaviors and habits in their children, and give full play to the important role of family, family education and family traditions in social governance at the primary level.

When in communication with the staff of the community's women's federation and recipients of the title of March 8th Red-banner Holder, Shen urged them to guide women to follow the Party's leadership, make contributions at their posts, and actively participate in the Women's Action for Science and Technology Innovation and the Women's Action for Rural Revitalization, developing it to a higher level.
Shen also stressed the importance of serving the community and its residents whole-heartedly, promoting ethnic unity, playing a role in the building of family, family education and family traditions, and taking the initiative to protect the environment of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
